THURSDAY — LEAVE EVIDENCE

“Her Life Left Something Behind”

Scripture — Acts 9:36, 39 (NLT)

Tabitha was known for “always doing kind things for others and helping the poor.”

When she died, something extraordinary happened.

The widows gathered around Peter and showed him the clothing Tabitha had made for them.

Think about that.

Her funeral had exhibits.

They didn't merely say:

“She was a good woman.”

They could point to something and say:

“Look what her life produced.”

There was evidence.

And that's the question for us:

What evidence will my life leave behind?

Not just money.

Not just property.

Not just titles.

Not just photographs.

People.

Somebody ought to be able to say:

I didn't quit because you encouraged me.

I learned to pray because I watched you pray.

I became a better parent because you helped me.

I discovered my purpose because you believed in me.

I came to know Jesus because I saw Him in you.

That's legacy.

When you're gone, your life should still be talking.

TODAY'S REFLECTION

If somebody had to produce evidence today that my life had blessed them, what could they point to?

That's not condemnation.

It's an invitation.

Because you're still here.

There's still time to create evidence.

TODAY'S MOVE

Do something today that could outlive the moment.

Teach somebody.

Mentor somebody.

Give something.

Write something.

Encourage somebody.

Invest in somebody.

Share Jesus with somebody.

PRAYER

God, make my life fruitful. Don't let me merely occupy years; let me invest them. Use what You've placed in my hands to strengthen somebody else. May there be people who are stronger, wiser, freer, and closer to Christ because You allowed our lives to intersect. In Jesus' name, amen.

Today's declaration:

I don't just want to leave memories. I want to leave evidence.
