Don't Miss Your Miracle

Grace and Peace My Ekklesia Family
Many people prayed for the opportunity you have today. Don't become so familiar with God's blessings that you fail to recognize them.
Luke 10:23-24 (NLT)
"Then when they were alone, he turned to the disciples and said, 'Blessed are the eyes that see what you have seen. I tell you, many prophets and kings longed to see what you see, but they didn't see it. And they longed to hear what you hear, but they didn't hear it.'"
Jesus had just sent out the seventy-two disciples who returned rejoicing because demons were subject to them through His name. In this private moment, Jesus reminds them that their greatest blessing was not their power but their privilege.
For generations, prophets spoke of the coming Messiah. Kings dreamed of seeing God's redemption unfold. Isaiah prophesied Him. David sang about Him. Daniel saw glimpses of Him. Yet these men never physically walked beside Jesus.
The disciples were living in the fulfillment of promises others only anticipated.
Many believers spend so much time praying for the next season that they fail to appreciate the one they are currently living in.
We pray for opportunities while standing inside answered prayers.
We ask God for purpose while ignoring today's assignment.
We seek greater revelation while neglecting the truth already revealed.
The danger of familiarity is that miracles begin to look ordinary.
A healthy marriage.
A church family.
A Bible in your language.
The presence of the Holy Spirit.
Another day of life.
These are blessings many before us longed to experience.
Stop focusing exclusively on what God has not done and recognize what He has already done.
Today:
- Thank God for what you once prayed for.
- Steward what others wished they could have experienced.
- Refuse to become spiritually numb to God's goodness.
- See your current season through grateful eyes.
Somebody prayed for the opportunity you're standing in right now.
Don't miss your miracle because it has become familiar.
Let's Pray...
Father, forgive me for overlooking blessings that have become routine. Open my eyes to see Your goodness in this season. Help me recognize the opportunities, relationships, assignments, and revelations You have already placed before me. Teach me gratitude instead of complaint, stewardship instead of entitlement, and worship instead of worry. Let me honor what previous generations prayed for and walk faithfully in the opportunities You have entrusted to me. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Jesus is not inviting you into religion. He is inviting you into relationship.
If you have never surrendered your life to Christ, today is the day to trust Him.
If you have drifted away, today is the day to return.
If you already follow Him, today is the day to grow deeper in obedience.
Don't merely admire what God is doing. Participate in it.
