MESSY, BUT MERCY FOUND ME

Good morning Ekklesia
“But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.” — Romans 5:8 NLT
There is a temptation after God changes our lives to act like we were always clean.
We hide the struggle. We hide the tears. We hide the addiction. We hide the depression. We hide the mistakes. We hide the nights we almost gave up.
But God did not rescue you so you could rewrite your history. He rescued you so your history could reveal His glory.
The enemy wants people to believe they are too broken to be loved by God. That their mess disqualifies them from grace. But your testimony becomes evidence that Jesus still saves, still heals, still restores, and still calls imperfect people into purpose.
Your story may make some people uncomfortable… but your honesty may also save somebody’s life.
There is someone praying today for proof that God still works. And sometimes the answer to their prayer is not a sermon… it is your testimony.
The woman at the well had a messy past.
David had a messy failure.
Peter had a messy denial.
Paul had a messy history.
Yet God used all of them.
Not because they were perfect… but because they surrendered.
Do not glorify the mess. Glorify the mercy that brought you out of it.
Your scars are not reminders of defeat. They are reminders that healing happened.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for loving me while I was still broken. Help me never to be ashamed of the grace You have shown me. Give me wisdom to use my testimony to point others toward Jesus and not toward myself. Let my life become evidence that restoration is possible through Christ.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Challenge for Today:
Instead of hiding what God brought you through, thank Him for bringing you out. Your testimony may become the hope someone else needs to keep going today.
Love U More Than U Know, Stephän
