A Jesus Life Requires a Jesus Lifestyle
Many people want the results of greatness, but they do not want the rhythm of discipline. They desire the blessing, but they resist the daily becoming.
A Jesus Life is not just what we believe on Sunday. It is how we live on Monday. It is daily prayer. Daily surrender. Daily forgiveness. Daily obedience. Daily love. Daily trust.
Jesus never called us into a lifestyle that would crush us. He said, “My yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.” Why? Because when we walk with Jesus, we are not carrying life by ourselves. He carries what we cannot carry. He strengthens what we cannot sustain. He teaches us how to live without being destroyed by life.
The world says, “Be great.” Jesus says, “Follow Me.”
The world says, “Carry more.” Jesus says, “Come to Me.”
The world says, “Prove yourself.” Jesus says, “Abide in Me.”
So today, Ekklesia, let us not just desire a Jesus Life. Let us practice a Jesus Lifestyle.
Pray daily. Love daily. Forgive daily. Serve daily. Trust daily.
Because greatness in the Kingdom is not built by desire alone. It is formed through disciplined surrender to Jesus Christ.
Let's Pray...
Lord Jesus, teach us Your lifestyle. Help us walk with You daily, not just admire You from a distance. Give us discipline without heaviness, surrender without fear, and faith that follows You one step at a time.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
