“Wear Who You Are”

Colossians 3:10 NLT

“Put on your new nature, and be renewed as you learn to know your Creator and become like him.”

Hello Ekklesia Family,

Think of someone gifted a royal robe—tailored, clean, glorious. But instead, they keep wearing their old, torn clothes, stained from their past. That’s what it looks like when we say we’re saved but live like we’re still lost. The robe is ready—but it’s our responsibility to put it on.

In the original Greek, “put on” (enduo) means to clothe oneself deliberately. It’s not automatic—it’s intentional. Paul reminds us that this new nature isn’t earned—it’s received through Christ. But we must walk it out. The word “renewed” shows this is a process—daily, constant, Spirit-led transformation. And how? By knowing our Creator. Not just intellectually—but relationally. The more we know Him, the more we reflect Him.

This verse is a call to consistency. If we claim Christ, let our conduct confirm it. Let go of gossip, grudges, and guilt. Pick up patience, purity, and purpose. Don’t just profess—practice. Let your love, joy, and peace be as visible as your outfit. Get dressed in grace.

Abba Father, clothe us today in the righteousness of Your Son. Wash us from the shame of yesterday. Wrap us in Your love. Renew our minds, revive our hearts, and let us wear the Spirit boldly. Holy Spirit, guide our steps, shape our thoughts, and dress our souls with humility and holiness. We surrender to the wardrobe of the kingdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
