It's Bigger Than You

Grace and Peace My Ekklesia Family
God is working a plan that is larger than your pain, your confusion, and even your current season.
Ephesians 1:9-11 (NLT)
"God has now revealed to us his mysterious will regarding Christ—which is to fulfill his own good plan... He makes everything work out according to his plan."
When Paul wrote to the believers in Ephesus, he reminded them that God was not making things up as history unfolded. Long before the foundations of the world, God had already established His purpose in Christ. What was once a mystery has now been revealed: everything in heaven and earth will ultimately come under the authority of Jesus Christ.
The word "mystery" in this passage does not mean something unknowable. It refers to something once hidden but now revealed by God. God's plan was always Jesus. God's answer was always Jesus. God's future is still Jesus.
Paul further teaches that believers have received an inheritance because God chose them beforehand and works all things according to His divine purpose.
Many people are frustrated because they cannot see the entire picture.
We want explanations.
God gives promises.
We want details.
God gives direction.
We want immediate understanding.
God gives daily faith.
The enemy wants you to believe your life is random, chaotic, and meaningless. But Ephesians declares that God is working everything according to His plan.
That does not mean everything happening is good.
It means God is so powerful that He can redeem what was intended for evil and weave it into His purpose.
Some doors closed.
Some relationships changed.
Some dreams died.
Yet God is still working.
The cross looked like defeat on Friday, but it became salvation on Sunday.
Never judge God's plan from one chapter.
If God is working everything according to His plan, then your responsibility is not to control everything.
Your responsibility is to trust Him.
Stop demanding answers for every question.
Start obeying the last thing God told you.
The Shift is happening when believers stop living by sight and start walking by faith.
Today, surrender your timeline to God's timing.
What looks delayed may actually be divinely arranged.
What feels confusing may be part of a greater revelation.
What seems broken may be under construction.
Because when God is building, He does not waste a single piece.
Let's pray…
Father, thank You that my life is not an accident. Thank You that You revealed Your plan through Jesus Christ. Forgive me for the times I doubted Your purpose because I could not see Your process.
Today I surrender my expectations, my disappointments, my fears, and my need to control outcomes. Teach me to trust Your wisdom when I do not understand Your ways.
Strengthen my faith. Renew my hope. Help me walk in obedience even when I cannot see the entire path ahead. Remind me that You are working all things according to Your purpose and that nothing in my life is beyond Your power to redeem.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
Jesus Christ is not simply part of God's plan.
Jesus IS the plan.
If you have never surrendered your life to Christ, today is the day to begin.
If you have drifted away, today is the day to return.
Relationship with Jesus is greater than religion, tradition, or performance.
