You Have It All — What Are You Going To Do With It?

In Christ, God has already given the Church everything it needs for His purpose; the question is not what we lack, but what we will do with what we already have.
Ephesians 1:22-23 (NLT)
"God has put all things under the authority of Christ and has made him head over all things for the benefit of the church. And the church is his body; it is made full and complete by Christ, who fills all things everywhere with himself."
Paul writes to believers in Ephesus to remind them who Christ is and who they are because of Him. The Roman Empire seemed powerful. Religious systems seemed powerful. Wealth seemed powerful. Yet Paul declares that God has placed all things under the authority of Christ.
The Greek idea behind "all things" means exactly that—everything.
Christ is not merely head over the Church. He is head over creation, governments, kingdoms, powers, principalities, circumstances, and history itself.
Then Paul makes a shocking statement:
The Church is His Body.
Not a building.
Not a denomination.
Not a religious club.
His Body.
And Christ fills His Body with Himself.
Many believers spend their lives praying for what God has already provided.
We pray for power while ignoring the Holy Spirit.
We pray for purpose while neglecting obedience.
We pray for change while resisting transformation.
The modern Church often acts like a spiritual orphan while sitting at the King's table.
Paul says the Church is already made full and complete by Christ.
You may not have all the money.
You may not have all the answers.
You may not have all the influence.
But if you have Jesus, you already possess everything necessary to fulfill the assignment God has given you.
The question is no longer:
"What do I need?"
The question becomes:
"What am I going to do with what God has already given me?"
You have prayer.
Will you pray?
You have God's Word.
Will you study it?
You have the Holy Spirit.
Will you listen?
You have gifts.
Will you use them?
You have influence.
Will you steward it?
You have a testimony.
Will you share it?
You have Christ.
Will you follow Him?
The greatest tragedy is not dying empty.
The greatest tragedy is living full while never pouring out what God placed inside you.
Today, stop asking God for permission to become what He has already called you to be.
Walk in it.
Live it.
Share it.
Steward it.
You have it all.
What are you going to do with it?
Let's pray…
Father, thank You for placing all things under the authority of Jesus Christ. Forgive me for focusing on what I lack instead of what You have already provided. Help me walk in obedience, faith, courage, and purpose. Fill me afresh with Your Holy Spirit. Open my eyes to the gifts, opportunities, and assignments already in my hands. Let me not waste what You have entrusted to me. Teach me to be faithful with what I have so You may be glorified through my life. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Jesus is not asking you to become religious.
He is inviting you into relationship.
If you have never trusted Christ, today is the day.
If you have drifted away, today is the day to return.
If you are following Jesus, today is the day to take the next step in obedience.
Join us at Ekklesia Christian Life Ministries as we learn to live as the Body of Christ and fulfill His purpose in the earth.
Relationship over religion.
Discipleship over spectatorship.
Transformation over performance.
