Tuesday Morning Prayer for Ekklesia
A Prayer of Gratitude
Pray with me, Ekklesia family.
Heavenly Father,
this morning we come before You with grateful hearts.
Sacred is the prayer that asks for nothing,
but simply pauses to say thank You.
Thank You for every breath we take.
Thank You for life, for mercy, for strength,
for waking us up clothed in Your goodness and covered in Your grace.
Thank You for the seen blessings and the unseen ones.
Thank You for the doors You opened,
the dangers You blocked,
and the peace You placed over us through the night.
Lord, blessed are we inside this prayer,
because gratitude changes the atmosphere.
Gratitude lifts our eyes above worry.
Gratitude reminds us that You have already been better to us
than we could ever be to ourselves.
So today, we do not rush first to ask.
We first choose to honor You.
We choose to remember that You are holy,
You are faithful,
You are present,
and You are good.
Teach us to live thankful.
Teach us to speak thankful.
Teach us to walk through this Tuesday
with the confidence that every breath is a gift and every moment is held in Your hands.
And Father, as we give thanks in this world,
we do so with hope in the world to come.
For blessed are we inside this prayer,
for in the new world, we will be there.
You gave us a promise in John 14... in your house, you prepared a place for us.
Until then,
We will rejoice in Your presence.
We will worship before Your glory.
We will celebrate the goodness of the Lord forever.
Until that day, keep us faithful.
Keep us humble.
Keep us grateful.
Let thanksgiving be our language,
let worship be our posture,
and let love be our witness.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
