“Think Higher, Live Higher”

Scripture: Proverbs 23:7 (NLT):

“They are always thinking about how much it costs. ‘Eat and drink,’ they say, but they don’t mean it.”

A man stood before a mirror every morning, reciting, “I’m strong. I’m confident. I’m blessed.” But when he stepped away from the mirror, he lived out fear, insecurity, and defeat. Why? Because the mirror was just a moment—but his mind was a mindset.

What we meditate on, we manifest.

Solomon warns us to beware of those whose actions say one thing but whose thoughts reveal another. Yet, this wisdom also speaks directly to our own inner life. Our outward behaviors eventually align with our inward beliefs.

We are not just what we say or even what we do—we are what we think, consistently and deeply.

If you constantly think you’re not enough, you’ll start living as though you’re inadequate.

But if you think like a child of the Most High God, you'll walk like one, talk like one, love like one.

Speak the Word of God over your thoughts:

“I am fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14)

“I have the mind of Christ” (1 Corinthians 2:16)

“I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength” (Philippians 4:13)

Dear Father,

Renew my mind daily. Break every lie I’ve believed about myself, and replace it with Your truth. Let me think thoughts that are pleasing to You—pure, lovely, and praiseworthy. When fear speaks, remind me of Your power. When doubt whispers, let Your promises roar.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
