Good morning My Ekklesia Family
"Stay Humble and God Can Use You"
Job 1:21 (NLT)
"The Lord gave me what I had, and the Lord has taken it away. Praise the name of the Lord!"
There’s a phrase my father used to say that stays with me even now:
“Stay humble, and God can always use you for His glory.”
In a world that pushes us to self-promote, God reminds us to stay low so He can lift us high. Humility isn’t weakness—it’s trust. It’s surrender. It’s knowing that what we have, who we are, and where we’re going is all in God’s hands.
Job lost everything, yet his first response wasn’t to boast or blame—but to bow. Why? Because Job knew the source of his blessings—and he honored that source even in loss. Humility teaches us to praise when we gain and when we grieve.
Resist the urge to self-glorify. Let your wins reflect God’s hand, not just your hustle.
Give thanks out loud. Let your gratitude be your testimony.
Make humility a lifestyle, not a moment. Stay grounded no matter how high God elevates you.
Things to Consider moving forward:
Is your posture one of pride or surrender?
Are you still usable by God, or are you trying to run things without Him?
Gracious Father, I thank You for every door You’ve opened, and even the ones You’ve closed. Keep my heart humble and my mind stayed on You. Don’t let success make me forget Your grace, and don’t let hardship make me forget Your goodness. Use me, Lord—for Your glory, not mine. Amen.
At Ekklesia Christian Life Ministries, we believe that humility makes room for Heaven to move. If you’re ready to surrender your gifts, goals, and greatness to the God who gave them—come join us. Let’s grow together in grace and truth.
