Restored

Good morning, My Ekklesia Family,

When God restores, He doesn’t just return what was lost—He brings it back better, fuller, and with purpose. Joel 2:25 declares: "I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten." This powerful promise is a reminder that no matter what has been stolen, broken, or wasted in our lives, God has the power to restore and redeem it for His glory and our good.

In the context of Joel 2, Israel had suffered immense loss due to their rebellion, symbolized by the destruction caused by locusts. Yet, God, in His mercy, promised not only to forgive but to restore the years of loss. Restoration is a divine act of grace—God’s way of turning devastation into abundance. He not only replenishes but makes things new, often exceeding what we could imagine.

This promise of restoration is still alive for us today. When we bring our brokenness to God—whether it’s relationships, finances, health, or time—we can trust Him to work all things together for good (Romans 8:28). His restoration brings healing, wholeness, and hope.

Ekklesia Family, are there areas in your life where you feel like too much has been lost? Don’t let despair have the final word. Instead, surrender those places to God and believe in His restoring power. Restoration may not look exactly as we expect, but when God restores, it always brings deeper purpose and blessing. Let this be the season where you declare, “God will restore what I’ve lost, and I will trust His timing and His ways!”

Heavenly Father, thank You for being the God of restoration. We surrender our losses, pain, and disappointments to You. We trust in Your promise to restore not only what was taken but to make it even better. Strengthen our faith as we wait on Your timing. Fill us with hope and courage to move forward in the plans You have for us. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

If you have not yet experienced the restoring power of God, today is the day to begin. Give your life to Him, and watch how He turns your brokenness into beauty. Join us here at Ekklesia as we walk this journey of faith and restoration together. Visit EkklesiaChristianLife.org or connect with us in person. We would love to walk with you as God makes all things new in your life.
