STOP WAITING TO BE PERFECT

Spiritual maturity is not achieving sinless perfection; it is continually surrendering to the One who is transforming you.

Philippians 1:6 (NLT) — “And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished…”

Supporting Scriptures: Romans 3:23; Ephesians 2:10; Philippians 2:12–13.

Paul wrote Philippians while imprisoned, yet confidently reminded believers that God was continuing His work in them.

The Christian life is not merely an event.

It is formation.

God begins the work, continues the work, and ultimately completes the work.

You're under construction.

And construction sites aren't always pretty.

There's dust.

Noise.

Things temporarily out of place.

But the mess doesn't mean nothing is happening.

Sometimes the mess is evidence that work is underway.

The danger is when we use “I'm imperfect” as permission not to change.

Grace says, “Come as you are.”

Discipleship says, “But don't stay as you are.”

Stop postponing obedience until you reach some imaginary spiritual level.

Serve while you're growing.

Study while you're growing.

Love while you're growing.

Witness while you're growing.

And let God continue His work.

Let's Pray...

Father, thank You for not abandoning the work You started in me. Expose what needs changing and give me courage to obey You. Keep forming Christ in me. I surrender my excuses, habits, pride, and fear. Continue Your work in me. Amen.

Today, don't just hear another lesson. Come ready to examine what God is developing in you. Christianity is not spectator religion. Jesus calls disciples who follow, learn, change, and go.
