“I no longer call you slaves, because a master doesn’t confide in his slaves. Now you are my friends, since I have told you everything the Father told me.”

Good morning, Ekklesia Family! Today, Jesus gently reminds us that we are not just His followers—we are His friends. This one verse redefines our entire relationship with God. We are not kept in the dark or held at a distance. Jesus invites us into intimacy, trust, and purpose. He shares the heart of the Father with us.

A servant obeys out of obligation. A friend listens, learns, and loves from a place of connection. Christ has given us access—not just to orders—but to His mind, heart, and eternal plan. He lets us in. What an honor to be called His friend!

Do you live as someone who knows Jesus personally?

Are you listening for the things He wants to share with you today?

What difference would it make to approach today like you're walking with your closest friend?

Before you make any decision today—small or large—pause and say, “What are You sharing with me today, Jesus?” Your Friend has insight, comfort, and joy prepared just for you.

Oh Father, thank You for sending Jesus to call us not just to serve You but to walk with You. Thank You for trusting us with divine insight, heavenly secrets, and holy purpose. We receive this friendship with reverence and joy. Teach us to walk closely, listen carefully, and love deeply. We are honored to be called friends of God. Amen.
