Happy Memorial Day 🇺🇸

Peace, Grace, and Mercy to you and yours on this day of remembrance. As we honor those who have laid down their lives for the freedoms we enjoy, let us also remember the ultimate sacrifice of our Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave His life for our eternal freedom.

John 15:13 – “There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”

Psalm 29:11 – “The Lord gives his people strength. The Lord blesses them with peace.”

Romans 12:10 – “Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.”

Isaiah 53:5 – “But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.”

Heavenly Father,

We thank You today for the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to this country. May their sacrifice never be forgotten. Comfort the families who mourn and grant them Your perfect peace. We pray also for healing in our hearts, homes, and land.

Lord, on this Memorial Day, strengthen our faith, renew our minds, and restore our hope. We remember that our true freedom is found in Christ Jesus. Heal those who are grieving. Encourage those who feel forgotten. And bless each soul connected to Ekklesia with Your presence.

In the mighty name of Yeshua Hamashiach—Jesus the Christ—we pray.
