Listening to God's Voice

Good morning Ekklesia

In Hebrews 1:1-2, we are reminded of God’s timeless communication with His people. Long ago, He spoke through the prophets in various ways, but now, He has spoken to us through His Son, Jesus Christ. This revelation is not just a continuation but the culmination of His divine message. Through Jesus, we see God’s character, love, and purpose fully revealed.

These verses highlight the transition from the old covenant to the new. The prophets were God’s mouthpieces, revealing His will and guidance to the people. However, in these "final days," the ultimate revelation comes through His Son. Jesus is the exact representation of God, the inheritor of all things, and through Him, the universe was created. This emphasizes His authority, divinity, and the completeness of God’s message in Him.

For us at Ekklesia Christian Life, this passage calls us to focus on Jesus as the center of our faith. It’s a reminder to prioritize His teachings and example in our daily lives. We are encouraged to listen actively for His voice, through Scripture, prayer, and the Holy Spirit.

- How are we tuning into the voice of Jesus today?

- Are we allowing His teachings to shape our actions and decisions?

1. Daily Communion: Spend time each day reading the Gospels to understand Jesus’ teachings and character.

2. Active Listening: In prayer, ask God to reveal His will through Jesus and be open to His guidance in all circumstances.

3. Community Engagement: Share insights and revelations with fellow believers to grow together in understanding and faith.

Let us rejoice in the revelation of Jesus, our Savior, and commit to living out His message with fervor and love. As we reflect on His words, may our hearts be transformed and our actions reflect His glory.

Lord, I pray... your voice will be our choice. In Jesus name amen.
