Good morning My Ekklesia Family
“The Kingdom Within, the Father Above”
Luke 17:21 (NLT) – “You won’t be able to say, ‘Here it is!’ or ‘It’s over there!’ For the Kingdom of God is already among you.”
Matthew 6:9 (NLT) – “Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy.”
Have you ever paused in prayer and asked, “If the Kingdom is within me, then why do I still pray to a Father in Heaven?”
It’s because our God is both exalted and intimate—above all, yet dwelling in us.
When Jesus taught us to say, “Our Father in Heaven,” He wasn’t telling us God is far away. He was teaching us to honor His holiness, His sovereignty, and His throne above all thrones.
But when He said, “The Kingdom is within you,” He was revealing a mystery: the King who reigns in Heaven has taken residence in the hearts of those who believe.
This is the beauty of the Gospel:
God is high, but He is near.
He rules the universe, but He whispers in your soul.
His Kingdom has no borders, but it begins with your “yes.”
So, pray today with boldness:
“Our Father who is in Heaven, rule in me.”
Because Heaven isn’t just where God lives—it’s what He builds inside you when you surrender.
Father in Heaven, holy is Your name. Let Your Kingdom come in my thoughts, my choices, my church, and my world. Thank You for reigning over all and still choosing to live in me. I honor You above and within. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
