Is Your All on the Altar?

In this spiritual fight, half-hearted devotion won’t get you through.
You’ve got to give it all you’ve got.
With all your heart—even when it’s broken.
With all your mind—even when it’s weary.
With all your body—even when it’s weak.
With all your soul—even when it’s been wounded.
There comes a moment when you have to stop negotiating your obedience and lay your full self on the altar.
No leftovers. No conditions. No excuses.
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your strength, and all your mind.” – Luke 10:27 (NLT)
And when you’ve done all you can…
You trust God to do the rest.
He is the strength in your surrender.
He is the fire on the altar.
He is the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
So, let me ask you what the old hymn asked:
Is your all on the altar of sacrifice laid?
Does your heart the Spirit control?
You can only be blessed and have peace and sweet rest,
as you yield Him your body and soul.
Father God
Elohim, we come not in part, but in full surrender.
We lay it all down—our burdens, our plans, our pride, our fears.
With every breath we have left, we choose obedience.
With every thought we can control, we choose trust.
With every limb still moving, we choose to worship.
Father, consume our offering with your holy fire.
Empower us by your Spirit to fight the good fight with faith, not flesh.
Remind us: You are enough when we are not.
We give you our all—because You gave us Yours.
In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer,
Amen.
If you're tired of giving God some and ready to give Him all,
If you're ready to stop wrestling and start surrendering,
If your altar is empty and your heart is heavy…
Today is your day.
Lay your life before the Master.
Receive His rest.
Walk in His grace.
Fight in His power.
“Then Jesus said to His disciples, ‘If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me.’” – Luke 9:23 (NLT)
