Healing Begins in Hope

Good morning My Ekklesia Family
You are standing at the shore after a violent storm. The winds have quieted, but the waves still crash hard. You see broken debris along the sand—but you also see the sun breaking through the clouds. That glimmer of light is a promise: the storm didn’t destroy you—it passed over you. Healing begins not when the pain vanishes, but when you dare to believe again.
Scripture – Psalm 42:11 (NLT):
"Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again—my Savior and my God!"
David’s soul was in despair—he was spiritually downcast. Yet, instead of surrendering to depression, he chose to talk to his soul. He didn't just express his sadness; he challenged it. The Hebrew phrase "why art thou cast down?" implies a soul fallen to its knees, prostrated by grief. Yet David declares: “I will praise Him again.” That word "again" is prophetic—declaring restoration even before it arrives.
Healing doesn't deny hurt—it confronts it with hope. If your heart is heavy, don’t let your sadness define your future. Speak to your soul. Put your hope in God, not your feelings. Praise is a prophetic weapon. When you lift your voice in praise while wounded, you position yourself for supernatural recovery. Praise invites God into the brokenness—and where God is, healing flows.
Abba Father, My Healer and My Hope,
Even in sorrow, I lift my voice to You. I surrender my pain, my grief, and every hidden wound. Breathe on me, Ruach HaKodesh. Restore my soul. Speak life where death has tried to reign. I believe again. I will praise You again. Heal me so I can be a vessel of healing. In Jesus’ name, amen.
If today your soul is weary and broken, Jesus—the Balm in Gilead—is calling. Come. Join us on the path of healing, hope, and wholeness. Surrender your life to Christ and begin anew. We welcome you at Ekklesia Christian Life Ministries, Sundays at noon at 3960 Cane Run Rd.
We’re not just a church—we’re a healing place for real people.
