Don't Give Up
Good Morning Ekklesia
Don’t Give Up, Your Faith Will Make a Difference
Mark 5:34 (NLT) "‘Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace. Your suffering is over.’"
In the story of the woman with the issue of blood, we witness a woman who had been battling sickness for twelve long years. She had tried everything, spent all she had, and was left with no hope. Yet, when she heard about Jesus, faith rose in her heart. Despite the crowd, despite her condition, she pressed forward, believing that if she could just touch the hem of His robe, she would be healed. And she was right—her faith made a difference.
Deep study of this passage reveals that her faith was not passive but active. She didn’t wait for Jesus to come to her; she reached out. This is a picture of bold, relentless faith—a faith that refuses to give up even when all seems lost. Jesus honored her faith, telling her that it wasn’t just the touch but the belief in Him that had made her whole.
There are moments in life when we feel like giving up—when the prayers seem unanswered, the struggle unending, and the obstacles overwhelming. But just like the woman in Mark 5, it is in these very moments that our faith matters most. Your breakthrough may be closer than you think, but it requires you to keep believing, to keep pressing in, and to refuse to give up.
This time, it’s your faith that will make a difference. Just as God honored the woman’s faith, He will honor yours. Stay the course, keep trusting in Jesus, and watch as He moves on your behalf.
Heavenly Father, I lift up every heart that feels weary and burdened today. You know the struggles, the silent tears, and the battles each one faces. Strengthen our faith, Lord. Help us to keep pressing forward, knowing that our faith in You will bring the breakthrough. Encourage us not to give up but to trust that You are working all things together for our good. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
