“Before the Shift... There Was the Stirring”

My Ekklesia Family, Grace and Peace

Before God shifts a people, He stirs a remnant.

Before the Day of Pentecost came a gathering in the upper room.

Before the walls of Jericho fell, came marching and silence.

Before the coin was found in the house (Luke 15:8), the woman had to light a lamp and sweep.

God never starts a move in noise. He starts it in stillness. In obedience. In a people willing to be stirred.

Today is not just about what God will do tomorrow. It’s about how we position our hearts today.

Scripture Focus – Ephesians 4:11–13 (NLT)

“Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church... Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ.”

Before the gifts are activated, the body must be aligned.Before the Church is equipped, the heart must be surrendered.

The shift is about to happen—but don’t miss the stirring.

God is awakening apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers already in the house. He's preparing hearts, minds, and ministries for the birthing of something bigger than us.

This prequel is our invitation to lean in, reflect, and prepare to be poured out.

1. Ask God to stir, not just shift. Don't wait to move until Sunday—start by listening today.

2. Examine your heart. Am I ready for the weight of responsibility that comes with walking in my calling?

3. Respond with action. Join a ministry. Complete your spiritual gifts test. Be willing to sweep your own house.

Lord Jesus, Before You shift anything around me, stir something within me. Awaken the gifts. Align my heart. Break up the routine. Make me sensitive to Your movement and willing to obey even when I don't understand. I surrender every gift, every fear, every delay. Let my yes echo in heaven before my feet ever move on earth. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
