Identifying and Eliminating Sinful Toxins in Our Lives

January 4, 2019

Good morning my Ekklesia Family

We as Christians are constantly being bombarded by the hand of the enemy. If we aren't careful our positive thinking will slip and become toxic. If we are always focusing then complaining about what is wrong and never see God Hands moving our thoughts may be toxic.

To battle against your toxic thoughts, you must identify and reject them. As 2 Corinthians 10 tells us, the battle against our toxic thoughts is like none other. It is not a physical battle, but rather it is a spiritual battle that requires God's help in fighting.

There are four common categories of toxic thoughts. Ask yourself am I negative, am I fearful, am I always discontented, and am I critical of myself and others? If the answer is yes, chances are you are struggling with toxic thoughts in one or more of these four ways. Don't let these toxic thoughts grab hold of you and consume you. The deeper you let them take root inside you, the harder they will be to shake off. Identify those thoughts and reject them today.

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled. II Corinthians 10:3‭-‬6 NKJV

I'm praying for you.
