Repentance is Necessary
Good Morning My Ekklesia Family
When was the last time you told God, "I'm sorry." for sins we have committed?
In prayer, our daily conversation with The Creator, are we always asking instead of simply thanking?
If we were standing before God right now would he be pleased with the way we're treating each other?
Maybe we should ask ourselves these and other questions, and if we do not like the answers, then repentance is necessary.
What is repentance? Repentance is being godly sorry for the sins we have committed, and making a complete change from the choices in life and lifestyle that drove us to the sin in the first place. Every year around the beginning of your many people make resolutions promises to themselves that they want to do something different maybe better. Before you make the resolution, Take the step of repentance and ask God to clean you from the inside out.
If someone claims, “I know God,” but doesn’t obey God’s commandments, that person is a liar and is not living in the truth. But those who obey God’s word truly show how completely they love him. That is how we know we are living in him. Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did. 1 John 2:4-6 NLT
