Matthew 10:20 (NLT)
“For it is not you who will be speaking—it will be the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.”
Grace and Peace Ekklesia Family
There are moments where your strength isn’t enough, your words fall short, and your emotions feel too heavy to carry. But the Lord reminds you today: You’re not standing alone. You’re not speaking alone. You’re not moving alone. When you show up in obedience, God shows up in power.
In Matthew 10, Jesus is commissioning His disciples to go into difficult places—rooms where they may not be welcomed, cities that may reject them, and conversations they may feel unprepared for. He tells them not to fear because their confidence is not in their own ability, but in the Holy Spirit’s activity.
This verse reveals that the Father Himself takes responsibility for the words, wisdom, courage, and clarity His servants need. The call is big, but His Spirit in you is bigger.
The message is simple yet supernatural:
When you step into purpose, the Spirit steps into you.
You don’t have to force it. You don’t have to fear it. Heaven will fill your mouth and steady your heart.
1. Show Up Even When You Feel Unprepared.
God does His best work through surrendered vessels, not perfect ones.
2. Trust the Voice Within You More Than the Noise Around You.
The Spirit speaks with wisdom, peace, and boldness—listen for His tone.
3. Release the Pressure to Impress People.
When God is speaking through you, the weight shifts from performance to purpose.
Let's Pray...
Father, in the name of Jesus, thank You for the promise that we never stand alone. Breathe on us today. Speak through us. Strengthen us. Stand up in us. When we walk into rooms that feel intimidating, let Your Spirit go before us. When we open our mouths, fill our words with Your wisdom, love, and power. Remind us that with every step we take, Heaven is backing us.
Encourage the heart that feels weak, steady the soul that feels unsure, and ignite the spirit that feels weary. Let Your glory be revealed through our obedience. We receive fresh courage, fresh clarity, and fresh confidence—in Jesus’ name. Amen.
