Isaiah 43:19 (NLT)
“For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it?”
Grace and Peace Ekklesia Family
There are moments in life when it feels like everything has stalled — like you’re standing in the middle of a chapter that refuses to end. But hear this: God is not finished with your story. He’s just flipping the page.
Isaiah 43:19 is Heaven’s announcement that God is actively working even when you cannot see it. The phrase “I have already begun” in the Hebrew carries the idea of God setting things in motion before we recognize the movement. That means God’s new thing is not just a promise — it’s already a process. It is already in development. It is already unfolding. It is already on the way.
When Israel felt stuck, God sent this prophetic word through Isaiah to shift their vision. God said, “Do you not see it?” Not because it wasn’t happening — but because their disappointment blurred their discernment. Sometimes pain blinds us to the progress God is forming beneath the surface.
This devotion reminds us that God moves ahead of us, preparing breakthroughs long before we feel them. The “new thing” of Isaiah 43:19 is a call to stop rehearsing what was and start expecting what is coming.
1. Expect God’s Movement Daily:
Wake up saying, “Today, I expect God to move.” Expectancy is the birthplace of manifestation.
2. Release What God Has Already Resolved:
Stop trying to resurrect what God has already replaced. Some endings are divine closures.
3. Walk in Prophetic Confidence:
Believe God is shaping doors, relationships, and opportunities that match your assignment, not your anxiety.
LET'S PRAY...
Father, in the name of Jesus, I surrender my timeline, my plans, and my expectations to You. Open my eyes to see the new thing You have already begun. Breathe strength into every weary place and hope into every discouraged heart. Let Your Spirit stir fresh faith, fresh vision, and fresh peace in the lives of Your people. Lead us, guide us, and align us with Your perfect will. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
If you’re ready for God to flip the page in your life — begin by surrendering your heart to Him. Jesus stands ready to save, restore, heal, and lead you. Today is the day to step into the new thing God has already begun. Come grow with us at Ekklesia Christian Life Ministries. LoveUmorethanUknow
