Keep Striking

Grace and Peace Ekklesia

Galatians 6:9 (NLT)

“So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.”

Late last night, I saw this quote on social media... “The last stroke of the hammer breaks the stone. This doesn’t mean the first stroke is useless. Success is the result of continuous effort.”

The last stroke of the hammer breaks the stone — but that doesn’t mean the first stroke was useless. Every swing mattered. Every strike weakened what could not be seen.

The same is true for your prayers, your faith, your obedience, your tears. The victory you’re believing for isn’t coming out of nowhere — it’s the result of every faithful moment you refused to quit.

When it finally happens, people may only see the final breakthrough. But God saw the process — every swing, every press, every “yes, Lord” when you were tired.

Success in the Kingdom is not sudden; it’s sustained faith made visible.

In Galatians 6:9, Paul reminds the church at Galatia that harvest follows endurance. The word “weary” in Greek (ekkakeo) means to “lose heart before the finish line.”

Heaven’s promise is not for the perfect, but for the persistent. God honors the one who keeps swinging even when the stone hasn’t cracked yet.

Your “last strike” moment is coming — but it will only arrive because you never stopped believing.

1. Keep consistency over intensity. Don’t wait for perfect conditions; keep showing up in prayer, in service, in love.

2. Remember the unseen work. What you can’t see, God is shaping beneath the surface.

3. Celebrate small victories. Each swing builds strength, focus, and faith.

Lord, strengthen my hands to keep striking. Remind me that every effort, every prayer, and every act of faith counts in Your plan. When I feel weary, breathe Your Spirit into me again. Let me not stop short of the miracle.

In Jesus’ name — Amen.

Keep swinging, beloved. The sound of your faith is echoing in Heaven. The stone will break.
