Don't Chase Shallow Water

A One-Minute Inspirational Thought for Ekklesia

There's a difference between a blessing and a lesson — and sometimes God loves you too much to give you one without the other.

Some of us have been frustrated, wondering why things aren't moving faster. But what if the delay isn't a denial? What if God is deepening you before He elevates you?

Psalm 1:3 says it like this —

"They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season without fail. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do." — Psalm 1:3 NLT

Notice — the tree doesn't chase the water. It's planted near it. And because it's rooted in the right place, fruit comes naturally, in the right season.

Stop chasing shallow blessings. Let God plant you deeper in this season.

The lesson is the preparation. The process is the promise forming. What He's teaching you right now is making you ready for what you haven't even asked for yet.

Don't despise the classroom. The more He's teaching you, the more He's trusting you with.

Love U More Than U Know. Pastor Stephan

🙏 Lord, make me a planted tree — rooted, patient, and fruitful in Your timing. Amen.
