Coming Out of Depression

We all go through moments when we feel hopeless. There are different ways to handle and get out of depression. Some people cry out loud, some people hide their emotions, some even express themselves creatively through song, art, or spoken word, and some turn to artificial stimulation (drugs, sex, alcohol...)

Again, the thing to remember is, we all go through something. And because we all go through it, we can rest assured that our God knows and has complete control of what we face, how much we can handle, and ways of escape.

My friend, it's temporary. God is developing you right now for greatness. How do I know this?  Just stop and look around, Can't you see his mercy and grace in your life? It could be worse, but it's not. Lift your head, and be thankful for everything right now... good, bad, or indifferent. And Let's Thank God together... for the great things ahead.... that's how we get out of depression.

I thought: My future is gone, as well as my hope from the LORD . The memory of my suffering and homelessness is bitterness and poison. I can’t help but remember and am depressed. I call all this to mind—therefore, I will wait. Certainly the faithful love of the LORD hasn’t ended; certainly God’s compassion isn’t through! They are renewed every morning. Great is your faithfulness. I think: The LORD is my portion! Therefore, I’ll wait for him. The LORD is good to those who hope in him, to the person who seeks him. It’s good to wait in silence for the LORD ’s deliverance. Lamentations 3:18‭-‬26 CEB
