Become the Person You Should Have Been Years Ago

Good morning Ekklesia,

“I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut.” – Revelation 3:8

God’s grace is not bound by time, and His plans are not limited by your past. Revelation 3:8 reminds us that the doors God opens are firm, immovable invitations into His perfect will. This isn’t just a word for the present—it’s a call to redeem lost time. Maybe you’ve spent years walking in regret, procrastination, or fear, wondering what could have been if you’d answered God’s call sooner. Let me remind you: the God who redeems is the God who restores.

Today, God invites you to become the person He designed you to be from the start. It’s not too late to be that spouse who loves selflessly, that parent who leads with faith, or that disciple who boldly carries the gospel. The door is open now—walk through it! Don’t let shame or hesitation keep you from stepping into the fullness of His purpose. God has equipped you to overcome and transform. His Spirit empowers you to live boldly and to reflect His glory in every area of your life.

“Lord, I surrender my past—every failure, delay, and regret—and my fears about the future. I choose to walk into the open door You’ve placed before me. Transform my heart, renew my mind, and help me live as the person You created me to be. Let my life shine as a testimony of Your grace and restoration. Amen.”
