Give Yourself Grace — Then Give It Away

For Christmas, Give Yourself Grace — Then Give It Away

Grace and Peace My Ekklesia Family

“God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.” — Ephesians 2:8

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” — 1 Peter 4:10

For Christmas, give yourself grace.

Grace for the patterns you didn’t choose.

Grace for the cycles you didn’t start.

Grace for learning how to show up without ever being shown how.

And once you receive that grace, don’t hoard it—share it.

Because grace was never meant to stop with you.

Grace (charis) in Scripture is not passive forgiveness—it is active divine empowerment.

Paul teaches that grace does not merely pardon our past; it repositions our future.

In Ephesians 2, grace rescues us from works-based striving and establishes us in God’s finished work.

Peter expands this truth: grace is given in various forms, meaning what God heals in you becomes a ministry through you.

You are not just a recipient—you are a steward.

This season is not about pretending everything is perfect.

It is about recognizing that God is rewriting what you inherited.

You are breaking generational cycles.

You are unlearning survival behaviors.

You are loving in ways no one modeled for you.

That takes time.

That takes humility.

That takes grace.

And the same grace that keeps you standing is the grace God calls you to extend to others.

Life-Changing Applications

  • Give yourself permission to heal without guilt. Growth is not rebellion—it is obedience.

  • Refuse to weaponize perfection. God works through progress, not performance.

  • Practice grace outwardly. Speak gently. Listen longer. Judge slower.

  • Release people where they are. Grace doesn’t excuse sin—but it creates space for transformation.

Hear this clearly:

You are not late.

You are not broken.

You are not failing.

You are becoming.

What once wounded you will soon minister through you.

What tried to trap you will now teach through you.

Grace is not weakness—it is God’s strength resting on surrendered people.

Father God,

We surrender our guilt, our self-criticism, and our unrealistic expectations.

Thank You for grace that covers us, corrects us, and carries us forward.

Teach us to receive what You freely give—and to give freely what we receive.

Heal us where we were never taught how to love well.

Make us living testimonies of Your patience, mercy, and power.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

If you desire to walk daily in grace, truth, and transformation—

If you want to grow in faith, healing, and purpose—

We invite you to journey with us at Ekklesia Christian Life Ministries.

You don’t have to do this alone.

You were never meant to.

Ekklesia — Love U More Than U Know
