A Reason to Appreciate Jesus Christ Even More

When it comes to reading The Bible I suggest starting from the beginning and reading to the very end. But in the beginning of The Bible, the first 5 books called the Pentateuch, this is where most of the Jewish laws and rituals were given. It's easy to get discouraged, because there were so many whose and regulations to follow and with our 21st century mindset we are not about to slaughter animals on an altar to have our sins forgiven.

This is the reason why we need a savior, this is why we need Jesus. Because of the sacrifice that Jesus made for us on Calvary we are not obligated to perform all of those rituals. The blood sacrifices are no longer needed because of what Christ did that paid at all.

There's 3 things we need to remember The first is found in Matthew's gospel chapter 22 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Matthew 22:37‭-‬40 KJV

The second is baptism Matthew 28:19-20 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Matthew 28:19‭-‬20 KJV.

And the third is Communion of The Lord's Supper 1st Corinthians 11 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.

1 Corinthians 11:24‭-‬26 KJV

To sum things up this is what he asked us to do, It's simple and yet sounds easy but it takes work takes dedication it takes commitment Are you ready to commit to Christ?

For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

Romans 10:4 KJV

Love u more than u know
