We Are Called to be Peaceful

Good Morning Ekklesia

A good friend of mine told me the other he "keeps giving away his peace" I didn't know how to take it at first and then I realized, he allows negative people and situations to provoke him to anger and discontentment... (lose his peace).

This morning, I want to remind him and someone reading this, God has given you Peace through Christ Jesus “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid." John 14:27. I believe this is a gift He keeps on giving! 😊 You may have lost it or gave it away yesterday, but today is a new day... His Peace is yours!

Now with this Peace, comes power and protection. You have the ability to overcome and be victorious in every situation. What negative people say and do will no longer affect you, when you remember His Peace.

Matthew 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God.

2 Timothy 1:7 For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline

Ephesians 4:1‭-‬6 Therefore I, a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God. Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love. Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace. For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future. There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all, in all, and living through all.

Ephesians 4:26 -27 "Be angry, and do not sin": do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil.

Philippians 4:7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Words of an old hymn... When peace like a river, attendeth my way, When sorrows like sea billows roll Whatever my lot, thou hast taught me to say It is well, it is well, with my soul!

❤ u more than u know

Peace Joy and Blessings,

Steph.
