From Worry to Wonder to Worship

From Worry to Wonder to Worship

Matthew 8:26-27 and 14:30-33

8:26 He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm. 27 The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!”

14:30 But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!” 31 Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?” 32 And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. 33 Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.”

Remember the Farmers Insurance Commercials – J.K. Simmons (Actor) At Farmers®, we know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two® They are confident in their insurance product because they have been there before.

Experience is a great teacher, so with God, if you fail and the first lesson you have to take the test again

In the text, we have the same persons dealing with the same problems: You have Jesus and the Disciples, you have a boat in a storm (All of your problems should have these factors. Sometimes all we are missing is Jesus)

Going from Worry to Wonder to Worship - FAITH is the KEY

The first time God brought you through, you were grateful, but you still had questions (Matthew 8:27)

The second time God brought you through, you were grateful, but you had confidence (Matthew 14:33)

The next time God brings you through, go ahead and be grateful NOW, Give Him Worship in advance!

Love u more than u know
