You're Not Ready

Good morning my Ekklesia Family 

You are not ready....yet.  Many of you talk a good game but cannot play it. You quit before the very end... think I'm not telling the truth?  How many times have you committed to God, committed to the church, then something happened to where you made the decision to quit and not follow through. 

As a pastor, good people have come up to me and said "Hey I'm going to do this" "Hey I'm going to do that" but when the time comes the same good people forget the commitment they made and they end up some place else. I realize these good people are not ready yet. They are not spiritually mature.  God is not the priority in their lives.  I too, like you, am learning...  If we promise to do something, then we must do it.  Realize this...when you fail to do what you say, someone suffers, someone else has to take up the slack and they may not be as good as you. 

Do your best to keep your word or else don't say anything at all.
