Rest in God's Timing

Good morning Ekklesia,

Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NLT)

“For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.”

In this passage, we are reminded that God’s timing is perfect. There is a season for everything in life—joy, pain, growth, and waiting. Too often, we rush or grow weary when God’s plan doesn’t unfold in the way we expect. Ecclesiastes 3 teaches us that each season has its purpose, even the waiting seasons, which mold us, refine us, and draw us closer to God's heart.

Today, if you find yourself anxious about what’s next or burdened by life’s pressures, remember that God has appointed a time for everything. Just as nature moves in seasons, so does our spiritual life. Be encouraged to trust God's perfect timing. What you are waiting for—answers, healing, breakthrough—will come, not a moment too late. While you wait, use this time to grow in faith, seek God’s face, and be at peace, knowing that He is working on your behalf.

Father, we thank You that You are sovereign over all things, including the seasons of our lives. Help us trust Your timing and rest in the knowledge that You are in control. Strengthen our faith, Lord, and give us peace as we wait for Your perfect plan to unfold. Let Your presence be our comfort, and may we always seek You first in everything. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
