Good morning My Ekklesia Family First of all let me say thank you for all of the birthday wishes it was one of the best birthdays ever I thank God for you. Better to have little, with fear for the Lord, than to have great treasure and inner turmoil. Proverbs 15:16 NLT I see people on a daily basis stressed completely out. People can have great jobs but still not have enough to really make ends meet. I know some people are living from paycheck to paycheck, if they're getting a paycheck at all. I can plainly see why some people desire to have more now there's nothing wrong with having more but will the more that you get make you lose focus of The God Who made a way for you? I can see what the writer of this proverb is saying that it's better to have little with God on my side then to have a lot and no God at all (paraphrased). 1 Timothy 6:6 says But godliness with contentment is great gain. We need to make sure that God is first in our life and with whatever doors of opportunity open we need to make sure He never loses his place.
