Good Morning My Ekklesia Family Jeremiah 1:8 KJV Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the Lord. I have read this text so many times before but today it hit me just a little bit differently. I was always taught that this lesson was about Jeremiah's insecurities about becoming God's mouthpiece. When God said he was chosen he came up with excuses why he could not do it. He handicapped himself by talking about what he thought was wrong about himself... doesn't that sound like us? Whenever God gives us an opportunity to do something great for Him and for the Kingdom we come up with excuses why it shouldn't be us. In this text, God says "Don't be afraid of their faces" I originally saw this as not being afraid of what people may say about you. Because people will talk, especially about what they know nothing about. Lol. But deeper still, don't be afraid about whatever they may do to you! They may have made you feel horrible yesterday but God delivered you and gave you today. Hallelujah! So don't talk yourself out of your blessing, if God brought you to, through, and out of things before you must believe and confess that He can and will do it again. I've prayed for you today! ❤u more than u know Peace & Blessings Stephan Kirby
