Kingdom discipleship is not merely finding Jesus for ourselves; it is bringing others into an encounter with Him.

Primary Scripture:

John 1:41-42 NLT

"Andrew went to find his brother, Simon, and told him, 'We have found the Messiah.' Then Andrew brought Simon to meet Jesus."

Supporting Scriptures:

Luke 14:23; Matthew 28:19-20; John 6:8-9; Romans 10:14

Andrew may not be remembered for preaching the largest sermon or performing the most miracles, but Scripture repeatedly records him bringing people to Jesus.

In John 1, Andrew encounters Jesus and immediately seeks out his brother Simon Peter.

Notice the sequence.

Andrew found Jesus.

Andrew told someone.

Andrew brought someone.

In Jewish culture, introducing someone to a respected teacher was an act of trust and relationship. Andrew believed what he had discovered was too important to keep to himself.

The Messiah was not merely information.

The Messiah was an invitation.

Many believers think evangelism requires a microphone.

Some think it requires theological expertise.

Others think it requires having all the answers.

Andrew teaches us something different.

Sometimes evangelism is simply bringing people into an environment where they can encounter Jesus.

Invite.

Encourage.

Bring.

The church has often made evangelism more complicated than Jesus intended.

The greatest invitation in Scripture was often:

"Come and see."

The Kingdom grows when ordinary believers introduce people to an extraordinary Savior.

As Ekklesia prepares for Family & Friends Day and our 15th Anniversary Celebration, this is not simply another event on the calendar.

This is an opportunity.

Someone you know may be one invitation away from hearing the Gospel.

One invitation away from hope.

One invitation away from healing.

One invitation away from restoration.

One invitation away from finding a church family.

Yesterday we learned:

"I Reach Them."

Today we learn:

"I Bring Them."

Pray for one person.

Invite one person.

Bring one person.

Do not underestimate the power of a simple invitation.

Andrew brought Peter.

Peter helped change the world.

You never know what God will do through the person you bring.

Today's Declaration:

"Someone's life may change because I cared enough to invite them."

Let's Pray

Father,

Thank You for sending Jesus to bring us into relationship with You.

Thank You for every person who invited us, prayed for us, encouraged us, and helped us find our way to Christ.

Give us courage to invite others.

Remove fear.

Remove hesitation.

Fill us with compassion for people who need You.

Use our words, our invitations, and our relationships to draw people closer to Jesus.

Prepare hearts for Family & Friends Day.

Prepare hearts for revival.

Prepare hearts for transformation.

Help Ekklesia be a church that brings people into the presence of God.

In Jesus' Name,

Amen.

Jesus is still calling people today.

He is still saving.

He is still healing.

He is still restoring.

If you have never trusted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, today is the day to respond.

If you have drifted from Him, today is the day to return.
