“Recognize Him”

Based on Gospel of John 1:10–13 (NLT)

Pray with me today, Ekklesia family…

Jesus came into the very world He created… and the world didn’t recognize Him. He came to His own people… and they rejected Him. But to all who believed Him and accepted Him… He gave the right to become children of God.

(Pray this out loud)

Father, today open my eyes.

Let me not be so familiar with church, with routine, with religion… that I miss You when You show up in my life. You are not distant—you are present. You are not silent—you are speaking. Help me to recognize You.

Lord, I believe You… and I receive You.

Not just in word, but in truth. Not just in knowledge, but in relationship. Thank You that You have given me the right—the authority—to be called Your child. I don’t have to earn this. I don’t have to perform for this. I am born of You.

Today, I walk in that identity.

Not rejected… but accepted.

Not forgotten… but chosen.

Not who I used to be… but who You say I am.

Father, let my life reflect that I’ve been born again—not by human effort, but by Your Spirit. Let me see You clearly, follow You faithfully, and live as Your child boldly.

In Jesus’ name, amen.

Today’s Reminder:

Don’t just be around Jesus—recognize Him, receive Him, and walk like you belong to Him, because you do belong to Him!
